Lucknow and Awadh University, master's degrees and PhD in Sanskrit and Hindi. Post-graduated diploma in journalism from Mumbai BhartiyaVidhya Bhawan .1n the early days he was associated with the editing functions in the Information Department ,Lucknow magazine.
