Professor of Urban Development and Member Secretary

Reepunjaya Singh is Professor of Urban Development and Member Secretary to Centre for Disaster Management at the HCM Rajasthan State Institute of Public Administration, Jaipur. He holds Master's degree in Geography, Master of Planning (Urban and Regional Planning), M.Tech. (Remote Sensing), M.Sc. (Ecology and Environment). His Ph.D. is on ‘Geomorphology and Settlement Pattern of Indira Gandhi Canal Command Area’. Recently he has attended training programme in Climate Change and Disaster Management at University of Potsdam, Germany under GIZ Project of Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India in 2012. He has more than 50 research papers published in leading journals and edited books including papers presented at national and international conferences in India and aboard. 2Vol. set of books written by me on topic “Handbook of Disaster Management” published in 2014. For this the Government of Rajasthan facilitated and honored me on 26th Jan., 2015.
