Shailesh Lodha is an Indian actor, comedian and writer. He first appeared in Comedy Circus as contestant. He appears in the sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as real-life columnist Taarak Mehta. He is from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. His television career started from Comedy Circus as contestant, 2008-present Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as Taarak Mehta, 2012-2013 Wah! Wah! Kya Baat Hai! as Judge / Anchor and in 2014 Ajab Gajab Jamai as Special Appearance. Lodha has also written four books: the first two were satirical humour, the third was a self-help book co-written with his wife, and his most recent book, Diljale Ka Facebook Status, is a collection of poems written from the point of view of a jilted lover.
