Abhigyan Prakash Abhigyan Prakash is a senior journalist working with NDTV. He is the Executive Editor of the Hindi news channel NDTV India.He is also an Op-ed columnist for the Hindi newspaper Dainik Jagran.An April 20 15 Op-ed in The Hoot, an independent South Asian media watchdog, said that at a time when farmers' suicides and their plight was being discussed in almost every Indian television channel in panel discussions, it was only programs featuring Abhigyan Prakash in NDTV India which showed a journalist traveling to rural regions to depict the plight of farmers. Prakash was on the prize jury of the November 20 I 3 Press Council of India "National Awards for Excellence in Journalism" given to deserving journalists.
