Manisha Kulshreshtha is a popular Hindi writer, and has published five story collections and three novels. Her first published novel, Shigaf (The Slit), based on Kashmir, is written in the unusual form of a blog and was shortlisted for the Gitanjali Indo — French Jury Prize in 2012.A Kathak dancer, she has recently completed a novel based on the dance world and ancient views of Indian feminism, titled Panchkanya.
